Options Chicago Style
Mike has one of the best Web sites for options traders. Many of the traders who trade options Chicago style seek out his Web page.
Neal: Mike, give the reader a little background.
Mike: Well, I will try. I have a B.A. in political science from the University of Chicago. After school, I worked on the bond floor of the CBOT for First Options. After clerking on the floor, I moved to the proprietary trading department and became a trading systems developer. First Options was bought by Continental Bank, and I got to see the bank side of the business. When the proprietary group was disbanded, I did freelance programming, which evolved into an options risk analysis program. Soon after, I joined Phoenix Trading, where I wrote and maintained the trading system as well as trading in the Eurodollar options pit full time. After an extremely slow year of Euro trading, I left to form PM Publishing, which has been developing software for options traders all over the world since 1991. Currently, our business is evenly split between the CME, CBOT, New York exchanges, and overseas. Most of our customers are brokerage desks, pit traders and brokers, bank trading floors, and large hedge funds. Our program, the Professional Options Package,
