Neal: Choosing the right pit, getting trades, taking profits and losses, and adding to a profit are not only pit skills, they are trading skills.
When you step in the pit, you try to look at the outside market action and get a handle on what the locals are doing. You also want to know if the big doggies are hot or if they are cold. In this case the big doggies are the big traders. If you can translate these concepts into a portion of your system trading, you will be well on your way to trading Chicago style off the floor.
