Neal: Buy a seat?
Sid: Yes.
Neal: You'll get them trained, you'll put them on the floor, and if you do not feel that they qualify for your program, you'll turn them on to other firms?
Sid: It's not that a person doesn't qualify for our program. Rather, I might call a trader in to talk with me, and I'll say, ''At this point, in comparison to other people who've been trading as long as you have in a similar kind of pit, you're down toward the bottom quarter of the class. I think you need to take a look at what you're doing, and by the way, you may need to put $5000 or $10,000 more into your account." I rarely ask anybody to leave. People I've asked to leave have been those who've totally disregarded what we were saying.
Neal: Now, I don't want everyone to think all of your people are 5- or 10-lot traders, but you've got some pretty serious folks out there. You've got traders doing a couple thousand a day.
Sid: In some cases, even more.
Neal: Some of these traders are the ones you don't read about, because they don't want their names known. They don't want to do the seminar circuit. They don't want anyone to know what they're doing.
Sid: Exactly. To keep a low profile, I think, is an asset.
Neal: Are there any other firms you know of that offer training programs?
