Howard Abell
Howard Abell has been a successful trader of equities, futures, and options for more than 30 years. Howard began his trading career on Wall Street in 1968 before starting his own clearing firm, C.S.A., in 1973. C.S.A. was one of the leading trading firms in the Chicago markets.
Howard has more than two decades' experience as a floor trader and exchange member. In addition, he was a principal with Bob Koppel of a proprietary trading firm that trained its own in-house traders.
Howard is the author of Digital Day Trading, The Day Trader's Advantage, Risk Reward, The Market Savvy Investor, and The Electronic Trading of Options.
He is widely quoted in the financial media about strategies and tactics required for successful online trading. Howard's commitment to financial education goes back at least two decades.
Bob Koppel
Bob Koppel heads the Innergame Division of Rand Financial Services, Inc. He is a former long-term member and professional market maker on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Bob is the author of five books on the psychology of trading: The Innergame of Trading; The Outer Game of Trading; Bulls, Bears and Millionaires; The Intuitive Trader; The Tao of Trading; and The Mentally Tough Online Trader.
His books have been endorsed by the chairmen of the Chicago Board of Trade, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, and the Chicago Board Options Exchange, and used widely to instruct professional traders. He holds advanced degrees both in philosophy and group behavior from Columbia University.
Bob was a principal of a proprietary trading company specializing in developing and capitalizing its own in-house discretionary traders. He codeveloped the International Trading Institute's online trading curricula with Howard Abell. He writes on investment for <onmoney.com>.
