201 and above. For most people, their worst nightmare. But for the hardcore perfectionist, just what you hoped foron the HPI you have achieved the category of "perfect" perfectionism! Believe me, you don't want to hear any more of the interpretation for this category.

Item and Cluster Analysis
The HPI can be broken down into seven clusters of statements, based on different aspects of perfectionism. Here are the seven clusters and their corresponding statement numbers:
Perfectionistic self-identification. 1, 2, 16, 55, 59 (five items).
Narcissistic traits (superiority, grandiosity, envy, need for attention, etc.). 14, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 28, 30, 34, 38, 39, 42, 51, 54, 56 (17 items).
Body image. 13, 35, 40, 52 (four items).
Severe judgments of self and others. 5, 11, 32, 45, 49, 50, 57, 60 (eight items).
Unrealistically high expectations of self and others. 3, 6, 9, 10, 12, 18, 26, 33, 43, 44 (10 items).
All-or-nothing thinking. 4, 19, 23, 29, 37, 53 (six items).
Obsessive-compulsive traits. 7, 8, 21, 31, 36, 41, 46, 47, 48, 60 (10 items).
By examining your answers to specifics items within specific clusters, you can get a more exact idea of which aspects of perfectionism with which you tend to most strongly identify. Look especially at items you scored "4" in each cluster.
"Never Enough" Thinking
Our list of perfectionistic traits in the beginning of this chapter dealt largely with how perfectionists think about themselves, the world, and others in a general way.
