I think this is a good consequenceit diminishes intraday tension and so there is less worry about trading being halted in a stock you are holding. |

After reading and analyzing all the different trading styles that can be employed, it is most likely that a qualified candidate will develop into a "hybrid"one who will assimilate various aspects of the different styles in the attempt to become uniquely individual and a profitable trader. No one method of trading works all the time in all market conditions. It is important that whatever styles you use, you use them with consistency and adhere to basic discipline. You can use market-making techniques or momentum techniques (or other techniques) so long as you don't use different techniques as an excuse to trade with wild abandon. The trading techniques are tools to be used to help you trade with your brain and not with your gut instincts when loss tolerance is involved. |

Hybrid styles work exceptionally well in certain circumstances and not in others. For example, a grinder and a market-maker style of trading are very compatible, while a market-making style does not necessarily integrate well with a sharpshooter style of trading. Again, remember, the several styles are not to be used as excuses to trade too loosey-goosey. |
